    1. >In an email sent to Conservative MPs on Thursday night and seen by CTV News, party officials said “it was always (Jeneroux’s) intention to leave politics to spend more time with his family in B.C.”

Of course it was always his intention, as a fiscal conservative, to trigger a by-election costing taxpayers millions of dollars… that’s why he ran 6 months ago, so that he could immediately resign. Oceania was at war with Eastasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.

I don’t think some “House of Cards” CPC conspiracy needed to happen here. I think a far more likely scenario is that he put out feelers about crossing the floor and his family rightfully pointed out that doing so would put them literally in the crosshairs of convoy wackos and Diagalon freaks.

    2. If this budget passes because 3 CPC MPs either crossed the floor, resigned altogether, or otherwise didn’t support PP’s efforts to block, then I can’t see how the CPC members will keep him on as leader in January. We’re already at 2/3.

Justin Trudeau literally resigned over less internal conflict. He had a falling out with 1 person. So far, PP is at 2.

Reading his bio, he appears like an old-style, conventional conservative, who just so happens to be from Edmonton. Obviously….he might have been a threat to the current power structure; so he chooses to take himself out of the picture.

My “there was no coercion involved in my decision to resign” t-shirt is sure inviting a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.
