Interesting. Conservatives are absolutely in shambles right now. This does look a lot worse than him crossing the aisle after rumours of PP’s team of bullies and their threats came out.
Interesting that Pierre hasnt talked to the media since the budget and his only appearance was a french only event today in QC.
Cone of silence for a potential panic scenario, however this feels like a real bad one for Poilievre.
Why resign? Why not cross the aisle or sit as an independent? What do you all think is going on?

Matt is truly one of the good ones. I am not surprised to see him bail from team Poilievre. Every conversation I had with him, he seemed like someone who actually cares.
This is a more honourable decision than crossing the floor. Voters in his riding will have the chance to decide which party to support.
He barely won his seat in Edmonton so I’m curious to see how a by-election goes with the UCPs recent political moves in the province that could help tip this to the liberals
Edmonton Riverbend, which this guy represented, was one of the CPC’s narrowest wins in Alberta in the last election by a margin of just a little over 5%.
This means that the upcoming byelection for this riding is actually in play for the Liberals.
