That Elephant knows something.
Is this the same person that made these complaints a few years ago?
I didn’t realise the wolves and dogs were gone/euthanised- they didn’t announce it. Is this usual? They’ve announced other deaths of their animals so this makes me pause for thought. I love Dublin zoo and these allegations are very sad if true. That’s even before you look at the harassment and other things mentioned.
Awful if true. Both allegations. Poor antelope & cheetah.

If *all* of these claims are repeatedly investigated and found to be baseless, then someone’s clearly targetting the Zoo specifically.

Ohhhhh I wonder if the elephant in the photo means something…. I’m afraid I have heard allegations against a certain ‘famous’ elephant keeper…
Why does the article present the Zoo’s response to the allegations before listing the allegations? That’s a verylop sided way to doing things. Seems they wanted to give Murphy the last word at the expense of the article making sense.

They used to have (not sure if still there) a farm animal exhibit with cows etc. when I was a teenager. I grew up on a farm and the way they were keeping the cows was seriously cruel and not the way it should be done.
I have never been back to any zoo since. If they cannot keep a cow (a very common animal in Ireland) correctly what hope in hell do they have of keeping something more exotic correctly.
Whoever is responsible here should be stepping in, hopefully with a view to shutting it down. It’s not Victorian times anymore.
