Playing devil’s advocate here but is it illegal to sell those things?
I’m dead curious what these dolls are actually looking like… are they really child like? Or just small? Seems so unlikely that the business would be knowingly selling child sex dolls.
{edit} having seen the news article linked but one of the people who replied… nope, these are **not** just small dolls, absolutely child dolls. Super gross and creepy.
Epstein get out of this body 🤣🤣🥹
“We were fine with their exploitation of resources, human rights violations and extreme pollution, but a chunk of plastic in the form a child IS JUST TOO MUCH”
France right now be like: „I was fine with real little girls twerking in skimpy clothes for a movie because it, but dolls, the dolls can be harmed.“
If France packages it that we need to do this to „protect the children“, then the EU might get onboard like they did with Chat control…
> Era of impunity is over
What the actual fuck
nothing to with the EU, eu law and french law is diferent
I’m confused, I thought our government liked those kind of things
Or just ban Shein. We don’t need their shite in this continent.
They should have just pushed for a requirement that any sale is logged and quietly reported to the authorities for investigation instead.
Ban one webshop because of what one seller decided to sell? That’s a bit dumb.
Sounds a little excessive to sanction a whole platform that sells a million things because some sick people managed to pass something like this. When I saw the doll I understood why. It can easily pass for a legitimate product. Guys who approved it didn’t know the thing was a sex doll.
They’re just plastic dolls, man. Banning Shein to reduce consumerism puffing up a dictatorship seems like a more worthy cause. But they’re just going to buy somewhere else.
Makes sense since Shein is a threat to french business, i’m guessing they want it sanctioned, because of the fast fashion stuff.
