    1. Get these incompetent bozos out of office in the midterms. Leave Trump a sitting duck for the rest of his presidency 😃

    2. I know its a long shot but flipping both the house and the senate would really slow down the hemorrhaging.

Now all we need is an electorate that remembers when the republicans starves them to end the modern Republican Party once and for all

Republicans going nuclear on gerrymandering if their newly created „slightly red“ districts aren’t red enough. High energy and turnout from Democratic voters and depressed gop turnout from watching their Party suck so hard could lead to that gerrymander scheme backfiring pretty hard.

That said, results like last night’s make it a lot more likely that the Republicans will make a play to suspend 2026 mid-terms entirely.

    5. *“Even in the deep southern state of Mississippi, Democrats were able to break the supermajority in the state Senate by flipping three seats after 13 years, taking away Republicans’ ability to override the governor’s veto and easily propose constitutional amendments.“*

This shows that the disaffection with Trump and his policies runs deep.

I know things are still really crazy and some seriously screwed up stuff is going on right now but I can’t help but wondering if all the Trump supporters thought that “owning the libs” would be so expensive.😅

To reference a post I saw earlier, everyone Trump endorsed lost the election. It’s almost like Trump wanting you to win is *bad* for your career now

This is a start, but the momentum needs to keep going. My biggest concern is that the populace will take a few small ‚wins‘ and get complacent before we get any meaningful change.

    9. tRump would marry himself if he could. What a fat headed moron……….. He refuses to see why so many Republicans got their collective asses handed to them in this election. And the fact this is a warning to all Republicans in the upcoming 2026 election that they had better start looking for a new job.

    10. The reality is that social safety nets and personal freedoms advocated for by Democrats are widely popular and the Republican propaganda machine has to work incredibly hard to keep their unpopular platform afloat.

You can spread propaganda about trans people or minorities or immigrants with ease and scare people. It’s a hell of a lot harder to use propaganda to tell someone their belly is full when their cupboards are empty.

    11. The Georgia Public Service Commission has been entirely Republican since 2007. Democrats flipped two of the five seats on the commission last night with energy prices being the main focus of those races. This was a referendum on energy prices in a key swing state, and it went miserably for Republicans in spite of Trump’s boasting about prices being way down.

The last sentence hit me hard. Now its up to the fucking democrats to fucking pull their thumb out and *stand for populist economic platform full fuckin stop*. I want like 17 New Deals

    13. This is good, but man couldn’t these folks have shown up a year ago? Wouldn’t that have been nice….

    14. As all he cares about is enriching himself. Look at the F’n Republican „leaders“ who enable him Especially Mikey „little“ Johnson!! What a weasel.
Him. JD, Marco. Mitch, Kash. Blondi, Lindsay, Ted. All weasels.

It’s so bad MTG is actually calling them out! Who had that on their Bingo card? MTG being the voice of reason???

People are starving, health care is being cut, farmers aren’t selling. Bozo on the hill thinks it’s a great idea to send 40 billion to Argentina. Winning

    16. If this momentum holds, and the voter anger against the GOP is as strong next fall as today, then the Dems will very likely pick up the senate.

There are only 11 Dems running incumbent campaigns, but 20+ Repubs, many in purplish states that could flip out of their hands.

MAGA will convince themselves this means they just need to force their unpopular polices on everyone for the betterment of society

    18. Deomocrats won STATEWIDE races in Georgia with margins seen in the likes of California, by over 20 points.

That should have been the biggest shocker.

    19. Cost of living crisis has people MAD mad

Trump spending $40 billion dollars on bailing out Argentina is a bad look

Even worse when he’s personally kicking people off SNAP, ACA and letting Americans go hungry – and for what reason?

      It’s the economy stupid

There is hope! The CA county electoral map shows more conservative counties moving leftward. Orange, San Diego, Imperial, Ventura, etc.

Draconian immigration policies, tariffs, crippling inflation, breathtakingly bold family grift – among an endless list of misdeeds – may be wearing thin for all but the most diehard redhats.

When red hats lose, the American people win.

“Erie County, Pennsylvania, which narrowly supported Donald Trump in the 2024 election, voted overwhelmingly for Democrat Christina Vogel in its county executive race by 24 percentage points. In Virginia’s 66th state House district, Nicole Cole defeated 36-year Republican incumbent Bobby Orrock, who usually coasted to victory in every state election and was the longest-serving Republican delegate in Virginia’s legislature.

Democrats in Georgia managed to win two statewide races for public service commissioner, their first nonfederal statewide wins since 2006. Alicia Johnson defeated incumbent Tim Echols, by a 58 to 41 percent margin, while Peter Hubbard ousted Fitz Johnson 61 percent to 39 percent. The positions deal with utilities, and have “exclusive power to decide what are fair and reasonable rates for services under its jurisdiction.”

Even in the deep Southern state of Mississippi, Democrats were able to break the supermajority in the state Senate by flipping three seats after 13 years, taking away Republicans’ ability to override the governor’s veto and easily propose constitutional amendments.”

    22. turns out the policy of „I want to shit on you with my own diarrhea from an airplane“ isn’t very popular
