Mein Energieversorger hat Daten, Temperaturen und Energieverbrauch bereitgestellt. Ich habe auch NOAA-Wetterdaten von meiner lokalen Wetterstation abgerufen und die Gradtage mit einer durchschnittlichen Temperatur von 65 berechnet. „Abs Degree Days“ ist so, wie es sich anhört, weil ich nicht wollte, dass die Gradtage aufgrund von Kühl- und Heiztagen insgesamt nahe Null liegen.

The answer to the titular question is heating and cooling my remote WFH shed (May 2024 and onward ish) and the massive spike was when my heating unit decided to run exclusively on electric emergency heat (Dec-Feb 2025)
You might want to add better insulation. Or join the r/HomeDataCenter and call the electric heating a busines cost.
I take the exact same data types as you of my own house. There is definitely a better way to represent your data. If you are showing degree days, it’s not worth putting average temperatures (nor minimum, nor maximum), as heating degree days better show the cumulative coldness or hotness that is related to energy consumption. You might want to show cooling and heating separately, too, in order to better analyze your energy use patterns.
