This is basically what it is, a marketing campaign to entice new Canadians to explore their new country. What is there to complain about?

pretty sure the price is around 5-6$ for the entry to those parks, atleast that’s what I remember from last year. Atleast for this, no need to bitch. Let the new immigrant explore the beauty of Canada. If they like and enjoy it, they will come back again and spend the money which helps the park in return. Win-win

When I lived in a city in Germany, all newcomers were given a coupon book.
On the other hand, I have no idea what I’m paying taxes for:
1. No more access to a doctor
2. No military
3. Tuition for students is sky high
4. I’ll walk and cab, can’t use transit (small town)
5. No judges (apparently)
6. Canadian citizens who are homeless are treated very poorly and their encampments constantly raided by police
