People still cant realize market makers will keep taking advantage of these leveraged idiots. They can see (even we can) clearly where these liquidations will occur and will go for them each time those leverages get greedy and too bullish. They have the power/money to push it down and those positions will drop like dominoes.

Then they will continue collecting it back from lower prices to use the same power again in the future or ride the wave if we get on a bullish ride
