„Think tank“ is the wrong expression, though, for this right wing stuff. They’re not really thinking so much as bullshitting. „Bullshit tank“ is more like it.
We’ve litterally known about it since the 70s, and it’s only been bad faith actors and the uneducated that keep arguing against it.
We had a PM a few years ago that refused to enact climate/environmental policy because he was an evangelical and claim „thebworld was made for us by god“ therefore „humanity couldn’t do anything to destroy his creation“.
I hate knowing I’m surrounded by people who think this way.
