Canadian politicians don’t fear the electorate enough when taking away their Charter rights, so I think this is a wonderful development. I hope their efforts are successful, and that recall mechanisms can be put in places across the nation. It’s a great way to keep the abuse of the NWC in check.

In this case, trampling charter rights seems like an okay use of the recall.
