I read the first part of the headline as: „Zohran Mamdani gets Raptured“
Is it pandering? Yes. But as a gay man, born in the 80s, watching someone come to our spaces and court our vote — while many American politicians are scoring political points off demonizing us — is the kind of pandering I’m here for. I wish I could vote for Mamdani. I hope his policies work but I hope his brand of politicking becomes the mainstream for Democrats.

Man, I sure hope he can deliver for folks. I absolutely believe his intentions and love his morality, I just know it’s going to be such a ridiculous battle with people that don’t want him to succeed when he is in office.
