      In the Gulf states like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Oman, the majority of immigrants come from India, forming the backbone of the workforce that fuels the region’s energy and construction industries.

      Meanwhile, countries like Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq host large numbers of Syrian refugees, displaced by over a decade of civil war. In Iran, many immigrants come from Afghanistan, fleeing decades of conflict and instability.

      Meanwhile, Egypt sees many arrivals from Sudan, Caused by the violence of the civil war which forced many to flee to neighbouring countries such as Egypt

      Jordan received so many immigrants between 2010 and 2020 that its population grew from 7 mil to over 11 mil.

      I don’t think that „immigrant“ is the right terminology to describe the status of expats living in the Gulf states.

      Are Iranians really for Iraq, most of them are just Iraqis of Iranian descent that got deported to Iran in the 80s returning

      Yes there’s some migrants but not more than Syria

      I love how in all of the levant and iran most of the immigrants are just from the neighboring country next door lol

      I haven’t heard of Iranians fleeing to Iraq. It’s probably Rojhelati Kurds migrating to KRG.

      I thought India wasn’t too fond of muslims, looks like they are straight up the majority in a lot of these countries. Why do Indians keep going to these countries if they are slaves ? Is india just much worse off ?. Also why does modi constantly praise these countries and their leaders when his people are being sold off? Is modi giving up Hindus to the wealthy Arabs ok with the Indian population ?
