It should read: the Canadian government collected $3B from it’s businesses and consumers before the majority of those taxes were dropped.
These countertariffs were supposed to be funding the Canadian industries we were promised and Carney is now caving to US owned corporate interests.
We should be taking a page from China, not backing down.
