Turkey is the aggressor they invaded Cyprus. Turkey should withdraw and return occupied territories to the control of Cyprus

I mean this was expected. He wasn’t going to change his tune because Tatar didnt get elected. 

It’s also the logical stance for Turkey. They stick to 2 state solution and now the pressure is on RoC because if there is no agreement (or progress) he can just say „see I was right“ while working behind the scenes to scupper any potential progress. 

RoC needs to respond by agreeing at least some chapters of a potential solution, at least to show progress and blunt the avenues of attack. If there is agreement on the non controversial aspects, it’s a good basis for the next ones and more support internationally against the Turkish stance.
