      The house prices in urban areas is insane. State governments should decentralize their services and have more of their employees move to small towns. With remote work possible the smaller communities can be revived.

      I would not call the majority of Suffolk county and the east and west forks urban, this map seems stupid. Maybe just off pop density but it’s definitely not urban.

      It’s fascinating how some metros are growing into each other.

      I thought Tampa and Orlando were close but Philly and Wilmington are basically one city!

    5. Every time I see this, i always think „welcome to NJ, everything outside that red area is either farmland, preserved, land or abandoned“

    6. Based on all the little red areas in northern Vermont and New Hampshire that I’m familiar with, this map has a low threshold for “urban”.
