      Another tick for Betteridge’s law of headlines. No chance the most thoroughly Republican institution in the US government overturns a Republican President’s economic agenda.

    2. I’d normally give it 50/50 if they were to rule right away. They’ve ruled against stuff with Trump before. And other times sides with him.

      That said they massively delayed ruling on this. So I’d say it’s 75/25 in favour of ending it. I think they knew there wasn’t an easy legal route to maintain the tariffs so instead delayed ruling for as long as they legally could.

      It’s his favorite hammer to blindly bludgeon other countries with, while actually raising costs for Americans so he can send even more money to the rich. I don’t think the current Supreme Court would want to interfere with that.
