I really dont see the use in sending crew to an asteroid in this manner, what science will we gain that a probe couldn’t get us? Its not like crews will be going around and walking on the asteroid.
So glad to see this is what NASA will be doing with republicans increasing their budget…oh wait…
Starship has a plan for everything but have yet to build a single one that works….
Spending money on this over the myriad of other interesting missions like Europa Clipper seems… Silly. But I guess anything to use a SpaceX Starship at this point.
