      Anyone who thinks that this has anything to do with drugs is soft in the head. There are ~4x as many Americans addicted to opiates than cocaine, there are ~3x as many overdoses linked to opioids as there are linked to cocaine, and ~75% of overdoses linked to cocaine are also linked to opioids.

      Of the cocaine that does come to the US, the vast majority of it comes from Colombia and doesn’t pass through the Carribbean. Yet the Trump admin has decided to go scorched Earth and break all kinds of domestic and international laws to kill alleged Venezuelan drug traffickers?

      Literally all this is about is starting a conflict with Venezuela/Maduro; Trump does not give one iota of a shit about American drug addicts.

      Innocent until proven guilty. These extra-judicial killings are nothing short of murder. If the people on these boats are trafficking drugs, then they should be arrested and brought up on charges, but blowing them to smithereens isn’t moral.

      No trials, only killing. This is just murder for fun. And no countries dare to condemn the bully. The rule-based world is a facade, it has always been a jungle. Even if they are tried, death penalty for trafficking drugs is questionable. Also, US drug laws only apply to US citizen or foreigners on US territory. The victims are foreigners on international water, US has no jusrisdiction there.
