    1. It’s a good article. Just one snippet:
      > Though Trump vigorously and repeatedly disavowed Project 2025 on the campaign trail and today, and media outlets helped to cement the perception that he had turned his back on the Heritage Foundation and its allies, he went on to install its architects and allies in top posts across the government. “As President Trump has said many times, he had nothing to do with Project 2025,” White House spokesperson Harrison Fields told DeSmog. (Fields was previously Assistant Director of Media and Public Relations at the Heritage Foundation.)

During the election, Trump supporters insisted that Project2025 was a „hoax,“ one of their favorite terms to use.

But much of what Project2025 laid out in its blueprint for a Trump presidency has come to fruition.

The cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy from MAGA is astounding… While they claim over and over again that hiring should be based on „merit,“ they conveniently overlook that the Trump administration is plagued by rampant cronyism.

The current regime has been appointing and hiring its people based purely on favoritism and their level of loyalty to Trump. There’s nothing merit based about any of it.

Trump and his powerful allies continue to swing that revolving door; letting in corporate cronies, billionaires, donors, special interests, and personal affiliates and benefactors of Trump.

Project 2025 outlines this process by recommending that civil servants be stripped of their protections and be eventually replaced by loyalists whose only real qualification includes that they pledge their undying fealty to Donald Trump and the MAGA agenda.

The primary outcome of this is a crisis of incompetence at nearly every level of government, which has taken the form of several scandals, acts of negligence and misconduct, and of course the firing and persecution of anyone deemed unfaithful to Trump. This obviously means that anyone who contradicts the president has a target on their back.

This also serves several other major goals of Project2025: the establishment of a „unitary executive“ beholden to no one, the seizure of the „administrative state,“ and among other things, the total consolidation of power, or in other words, single party rule under what can best be described as a monarch.

One of the most successful and central aims of this administration, and as outlined in Project 2025 of course, is the creation of a unitary executive.

In other words, turning the presidency into a dictatorship.

This has involved giving the president unilateral authority over just about anything—including the policies he’s tried to enact via record breaking numbers of executive orders, a large percentage of which have been deemed or challenged as unconstitutional.

It involves giving Trump unrestricted powers over Congress and the judiciary; allowing him to flout checks and balances, defy court orders and abuse impoundment procedures to take control of the government’s purse.

Despite Trump and his ally’s claims that this is the most transparent administration in history, that same administration is orchestrating cover ups of massive scandals, eliminating practically all areas of independent oversight, and stacking the government with loyalists and cronies.

So even though Trump says that hiring should be based solely on „merit,“ his administration has been hiring staff based on preference and patronage.

With unilateral powers, Trump has made independent agencies subordinate to him. He’s turned the DOJ into his own personal legal arm which he’s weaponizing against his enemies. He’s used the FCC to apply regulatory pressures on media organizations that don’t provide him with constant positive publicity or spin. He’s putting economic advisors on the Fed board who align with him on monetary policy. He’s firing heads of agencies and institutions without cause and replacing them with kowtowing loyalists who will suppress or manipulate information and advance his policy goals.

His administration continues to impose mass layoffs of nonpartisan civil servants and staff members who are deemed „DEI“ hires, who are perceived as too ideologically at odds with the president; or who are baselessly accused of being saboteurs and insufficiently „patriotic.“

In reality, the regime is eliminating or replacing knowledgeable, independent and qualified staff with incompetent lackeys whose only qualifications are that they pledge their allegiance to Donald Trump and MAGA.

This also includes the dismantling or defunding of agencies that have been labeled too „woke.“ These important agencies, organizations and programs have been abolished or restructured merely because Republicans have judged them to be radical left inventions. In many cases, this includes areas of independent oversight.

Trump is also abusing his powers to rewrite history and suppress the arts, and to defund education and seize control over academic decision making at universities.

He’s exploiting his unitary executive powers to declare emergencies and invoke ambiguous laws and sections of US code to federalize the military against his political opponents and he’s unilaterally trying to reshape the constitution to fit his needs.

Trump has been abusing this notion of a unitary executive to obstruct and evade justice, to centralize authoritarian control over the country, to frame his enemies, to consolidate power and prosecutorial control under his administration, to declare war on the American people, to suspend civil liberties, to justify mass arrests and censorship, and to legitimize dictatorship in the US.

    3. > And Vance formally endorsed Tim Dunn’s Convention of States Project, according to that organization’s website.

Here’s some additional information on the Convention of States. They *really* want to rewrite the Constitution.

“They control Republican politics in the state.”

“The most far-reaching of these efforts to consolidate power may be the Convention of States Project. A highly controversial effort, partly funded by Dunn, it represents one of the best hopes for Christian nationalists, among other interested parties, who want to transform the laws of the land in one fell swoop. ‘When we started the Convention of States — and I was there at the beginning — I knew we had to have a spiritual revival, a Great Awakening and a political restoration for our country to come back to its roots,’ Dunn said at a 2019 summit for the group, where he spoke alongside Barton. ‘What I did not expect is that the Convention of States would be an organization that would trigger that Great Awakening.’”

“Yet nothing in Article V limits the scope of the laws that might be changed.

‘It’s a gamble, but if it pays off, it would be the biggest opportunity ever for billionaires to transform the government,’ Montgomery, the researcher of the religious right, said.“

Wait until you see the executive leadership at every agency has infiltrated the lower level Senior executive positions.

They’ll have to scrape the glue off the floors to remove them at every agency.

The project is radical with transforming our society. The press and right have brandedAOC , Bernie and health-care for all as radical . Listen carefully to its misapplication. Going forward.

    9. Can you believe all the morons that bought the lie that Trump said he’d not do project 2025?

    10. UselessInsight on

Everyone with an IQ above room temperature knew this administration was going to be doing Project 2025.

Anyone who said they weren’t was acting in bad faith or shouldn’t be allowed to manage their own finances.
