Trump obviously never read the book, and didn’t pay any attention in the theater to the 1974 film. So I’m sure he compares himself to Gatsby, except that in his mind he’s way better looking than Robert Redford.

I could go medically homeless any day because Anthem denied medical necessity and has kept me stuck in appeals almost 2 years. To afford the first payment on urgently needed surgery needed to save my husband’s life, my cancer patient nurse mom had to take out retirement money so we wouldn’t go homeless. To make the first payment to get the surgery so my husband didn’t die that month. I still have to figure out how to come up with the remaining ~100k.

I know how the Gilded Age ended. If Trump wants to go full „let them eat cake“, I’m down to party.
