      What more is expected?

And really, so much material available and guessing much worse the further it is in the shadows.

Let’s remember that before the internet boys would search the golf courses for discarded mags and everybody’s dad had a stash under the bed.

Porn in this case is like bacteria. You can choose a relatively benign fauna or you can find out that scorched earth results in only the nastiest varieties surviving, giving you much bigger problems.

    2. This shouldn’t have advanced as far as it did. It’s the perfect example of a „for the children!“ bill that will accomplish exactly none of its goals and have plenty of negative side effects along the way.

Our leaders are eager to emulate the totalitarian disaster of the UK’s OFCOM and shove a foot in the door for Digital ID. The ‚think of the children‘ framing is so transparent it’s insulting. These types of measures are also supported by all parties, just with different branding (CPC: porn = bad, LPC: disinformation = bad).

    4. The only way to verify someone’s age online is to build and keep a massive database of everyone’s personal data, and make it available to every site that wants to verify.

Does fucking *anybody* think the government can credibly keep our personal data secure in that scenario?
