You forgot Deadman’s Island in Halifax NS. It’s actually a peninsula, but it is a POW graveyard from the Napoleonic Wars and the War of 1812. Very spooky place!

I lived in d bay for a bit decades ago. I was told the reason it’s called destruction bay was because when the US army put up a camp there to build the Alaska highway, the locals told them it was a bad spot. Camp was destroyed by the wind soon after. The place is windy as fuck.
