    Zu diesem Zeitpunkt überrascht mich nichts wirklich. Ich bin mit loyalistischen Ansichten und ihrer Zugehörigkeit zu Israel wirklich nicht einverstanden, aber …

    Ich muss zugeben, manchmal schätze ich die Scheiße und die Kleinlichkeit, mit der manche Loyalisten alles ablehnen, was mit Irland zu tun hat; Sie wissen schon, auf der Insel, auf der sie geboren wurden und auf der ihre Familien seit Generationen leben LoYaLiSm.

    Diese Leute könnten von einer Therapie profitieren.

      I would have thought Scots/Ulster-Scots would have been the natural choice. Why aren’t I hearing more about that?

      Like how does this make sense in any capacity?

      But since themmuns are overwhelmingly pro-Palestine and they also want road signs on the island of Ireland to include the Irish language, this will be a great way of getting back at them!!!

      I’ve read the whole article – it’s not a serious proposal but silly (anti-Irish language) sabre rattling with a heavy dose of ragebait which apparently people are falling for.

      The third paragraph reads:

      >While 1,000 attempts have been made for the city’s streets to have dual English and Irish signage, at least two suggestions have been made for signs in English and Hebrew

      shortly followed by

      >Apart from Irish, Ulster Scots and Hebrew there have been requests for signage in German, Polish, Chinese and Japanese among the 1,300 applications received so far.

      So **TWO** of the **one thousand +** of applications are for Hebrew, other languages have been suggested as well. Don’t get played.

      I said it during the Brexit negotiations, and it remains true.

      Loyalists would rather sink the entirety of Northern Ireland into the sea, than allow nationalists to get a „win“.

      Even down to something ridiculous as putting a foreign language nobody speaks on their road signs instead of a native one.

      They would absolutely cut their nose off to spite their face, and gloat while they’re doing it.

      There’s contrarism and there’s cuntrarism . They’ll fight tooth and nail to block any use of the Irish language on Irish soil, but holy fuck they’re gone full zionist and want to plaster Hebrew signs in the same fecking places, while also being entirely racist to anyone with different color skin. Make it make sense.
