      Can you imagine if they tried this crap with China sinking ships that are “crossing with intent to distribute fentanyl”.  We’d be in a full blown war the first day. 

      This administration is taking the role of a bully from the schoolyard and applying that mentality to global politics.

      They are presumably killing fishermen, people who happen to be sailing their boat at the time in those water or maybe just maybe drug smugglers. I am assuming it’s fishermen 99% of the time.

      I’m still waiting to see someone charged with polluting in international waters. What happens to all of the drugs/chemicals in the boats? Are we just too lazy to clean up after?

      Ask someone who supports this:

      If instead, we boarded each vessel with the Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS) Teams the Navy already trains on all its deployed ships, then if drugs were discovered, shot each member of the crew in the head and threw their bodies overboard (men, women, children if applicable), is that ok?

      If drugs are not found and we still decided to shoot every crew member in the head, is that ok?

      Just sinking every vessel is akin to both of these options at once.

      The party that stuck out for me was this:

      They neither know who or what are on these boats. If they were loaded with drugs, I am pretty sure ‚evidentiary burden‘ would be simple to achieve.
