      I don’t use spotify for political podcasts. So I will just continue with the music I like. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

      I’d be open to using Apple Music but I’m locked out of my account for forgetting my password and, somehow, the answers to my security questions. I could make a new one with a new email, I suppose.

      I ditched Spotify a couple of years ago. Shame, I really liked the service, but I can’t support their bullshit.

      For streaming: Qobuz, soulseek and self host, or buy music rip it as a FLAC and self host.

      I ditched it for two weeks but Qobuz’s support for AirPods functionality sucks.

      Are there any apps that you can just upload and listen? I fall asleep to podcasts on shuffle and it is impossible (for me so far anyway) to find a file app that I can just upload my podcasts to, make a playlist of them, and put it on shuffle. I have no problem giving up music streaming if I could get that feature.

      okay but the issue in today’s world no large corporation is guiltless or morally worthy of my money. People say Apple Music but Tim Cook and Apple has donated millions to the Trump campaign and is regularly seen at dinners with him. The only way to consume music is to buy CDs and records straight from the source but most people want to jump around and listen to varying artists/songs back to back.

      Such a weird fabricated fuss. Doesn’t every other tech company allow ICE to buy ads? YouTube, Facebook, etc? How is this any different? Spotify isn’t even an American company, let alone MAGA…

      canceled my subscription this year after using it since 2012…. CD’s from the library are where it’s at !

      Hmmmm anyway I can get the music from my Spotify list? It’s a long list. 😅
      I know I can’t download it straight from Spotify but I would like some way of getting the list and see which songs I have so far.

      Why did they pick Spotify? I’ve seen ICE ads on all major platforms. Microsoft is even allowing Halo characters to be used for ICE recruitment. I feel bad for my many musician friends that rely on Spotify for their career

      If I didn’t drop Spotify for hosting awful podcasts I’ll never listen to like JRE, then why would I drop it now for having ads that I never hear due to paying for premium? It’s not like Spotify is making this content in question. To me this would be like ceasing to use my browser of choice just because the internet has all sorts of content (that I’ll never see or hear) that I don’t agree with.

      Switched to Tidal. Superior audio quality and they give artist a much larger percentage of streams.

      Nope. I’m suggesting it’s better to jump to something less problematic rather than equally so that you don’t have to keep making that change.

      You’re unpleasant because of your inability to speak to other people. Effective advocacy requires being able to engage without alienating the people you hope to encourage.

      You’re giving off homeschooled energy.
