The married father-of-two travelled to Boston on March 14, 2024, with colleagues from the Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) to march in the St Patrick’s Day parade that weekend.
The jury heard how Crosbie’s roommate had returned to their hotel with the woman to have consensual sex but that she was later awoken to Crosbie raping her.
At the sentencing hearing today, the victim said that Crosbie never offered an apology to her or showed any remorse.
