South Korea themselves are going nuclear. Trump just gave them permission. Japan will most likely follow suit. Australia’s project already underway. All our major pacific allies and adversaries will have nuclear submarines we’ll be stuck using yesterday’s equipment as is tradition.
Just buy the South Korean submarines already. Hanwah Ocean has a faster delivery slot that they are offering us and the ability to fit 10 short range ballistic missiles as well which the German Norwegian offer doesn’t
