Interesting to note that some of the soldiers depicted (the very first soldier shown in fact) are wearing the second trial pattern of the CCU, Close Combat Uniform, recognizable by the mandarin collar, chest pockets, hook and loop adjustable cuffs, and shoulder pockets with loop fabric for the attachment of patches and flags. This was a trial uniform that went through garrison and combat tests in 2003-2004, and many of the elements of the CCU went on to be incorporated into the ACU (Army Combat Uniform) that was first introduced in 2005 and later adopted army-wide.
