Just so everyone knows, the US Department of Energy, not the DoD is responsible for nukes. This was on purpose exactly for the reason we are going through now. The military was no allow to control the nukes, only civilians. These civilians may be MAGA now, but who knows. The DoD is only responsible for the delivery and military aspect of a nuke. This ensures they cannot be used without a civilian signing off on its use. Trump cannot order the pentagon to test more nukes because it’s not in their wheelhouse. He’ll have to ask the DoE
Ready to use that 25th amendment yet? Last I heard MAGA people have the same vulnerability to nukes as everyone else.
