    1. Not like Trump’s DOJ gives a crap, but I wonder how a judge is going to handle the fact that Trump’s legal team basically wrote the book on „you can’t investigate me if I’m running for office“

the court documents read. “[Abughazaleh] forcibly impeded, intimidated, and interfered with an officer of the United States.”

The quote above is interesting because that is exactly what ICE is doing to Americans. Just replace “an officer” with American people.

    3. trump would face up to like 300 years if the timeline didn’t slip like the Cascadia in the 1700s.

As a child, I always wondered why Christ and his disciples were so hated despite all the good they did. Fortunately, today’s church would never…

Boy, does my inner child feel fucking stupid now.

She’s the good Samaritan. And Trump’s loyal churches are all going to Hell…

Just kidding. They don’t really believe in an afterlife.

Anyone wondering when the fear mongering authoritarism,  end and the actual take over begins, its here.

    6. I thought political candidates couldn’t be charged with any crimes?  Didn’t the president set that precedent?

    7. They pardon people who bear-spray Capitol police officers, but if your fingernail scratches an ice vehicle you get 8 years.

Pur old king poopy pants in prison. He’s the biggest criminal in the world

    9. It’s twisted that the party of „they’re only words“ and „it’s just a joke“ are constantly trying to punish people for their words and jokes when they are people who disagree with them.

Imagine if someone did this To a Republican.

      Hell would freeze over.

I hope people remember how we were treated when it comes time for the shoe to switch foot.

So is it just President that when you’re running for the job you can also commit crimes?

    12. she and her follow protesters are going to get some cash when this is thrown out.

Oh look! Political prisoners. That old fascist bingo card is starting to fill up.

      Get out the smelling salts!

„Abughazaleh and five others are accused of blocking a Department of Homeland Security vehicle from carrying out deportations, banging and scratching on the window.“

    15. And those imbeciles complain about political repression in Germany or the UK. Welcome to the American version of Turkey and Hungary, where political opponents aren jailed over minor offences.

    16. To all the folks replying “for speaking against a fascist regime” to the other folks asking “but what’s the charge, and 8 years??”.. like figure it out lol not a clever answer we ALL KNOW this.

We’re trying to assess whether the charges can possibly stick, whether this is based on the new terror left directives, or if it will fizzle like the sandwich throwing guy.

It helps assess how far we are down the road.

Not even a jury of republican voters would convict for something like this

    18. WTF? I can’t believe that America could become a fascist country in under a year. I was so naive to think that democracy couldn’t disappear so quickly.

    19. The vehicle they’re charging her for „impeding“ wasn’t even forced to stop. Their claim is that the car was forced to *drive slower*. Here’s hoping ICE doesn’t get stuck in rush hour traffic or the whole working class is going to prison.

If she goes to jail she may have to change to the Republican Party, aka Party of Criminals.

    21. zachaboo777 on

Well it’s an illegal indictment, so I’m pretty sure they won’t convicted. But if they are, that’s gonna be a strong sign we no longer have rights.

    22. axebodyspraytester on

Yeah good luck getting anyone to convict. The case will be dismissed in a few days. We still have a thing called freedom of speech.

A man in Tennessee has been in county jail for over a month for posting a meme on Facebook. We are at the jailing political opponents stage of the fascist takeover.

    24. Awww welcome to a dictatorship America! Soon it will be you if you ever do anything out of line or speak out against your dear “elected leader”
