This is such a stupid take. Why would the president of SK actively sabotage his diplomatic agenda (aimed at improving things for SK citizens) in order to instead please American liberals and leftists?
I know it’s hard to understand given how the current US president is a pathological narcissist, but the role of the president in diplomacy is to protect the interests of the state and its people, not win praise from disgruntled citizens in other countries.
