    1. *On 13 May 2009, Ba’athist Syria’s ambassador to Serbia, Majed Shadoud, reported that Syrian president Bashar al-Assad told Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremiฤ‡ that his country continues to oppose the recognition of the independence of Kosovo. Shadoud quoted al-Assad as saying „Syria urges a political solution for the situation in the Balkans and the Middle East and is opposed to any kind of divisions in both regions, regardless of whether religious, ethnic or nationalist reasons are in question“.*

Syria is in hands of a new true leader Ahmed al-Sharaa who liberated his country from the Russian puppet Bashar al-Assad. There is a considerable Albanian population in Syria who fled during Albania’s Zog era and during the first Balkan War from Kosova. This agreement will likely make it able for the Albanians who have been disconnected from our homeland to return and visit the place of their ancestors (as could be seen from the interviews made by different journalists)

As a Syrian I am happy about this, but I wish if it wasn’t Isis government who have done this.
