Holy shit I do not care what media says at this point.
They are all complicit it normalizing this insanity, and they should be charged for misleading the American people.

That’s just proof positive of the conservative ideology that free markets find a way to fund this stuff.
To me it’s just more proof that billionaires and multimillionaires have been able to accumulate so much money and power that they can direct our moral missions. And that so much of o ur country has let their brains be washed and stepped on and get put in a financial pickle that they feel like we have to make us vs them choices.
SNAP isn’t taking food from your mouths. Helping LGBTQ people in sub Saharan Africa avoid brutal torture isn’t stopping you from sending your kids to college. It’s fuckin Jeff Bezos and his foam party on his mega yacht and his ability to rent a whole town in Italy out for a second shitty wedding.
I can recall a long government shutdown during the Obama era and I remember getting frequent news updates that all sides were working vigorously to Coke to an agreement. How things have changed.
We need to push for a culture that atleast has to look like they are trying to be a “public service”

He has stated that he doesn’t like the day to day business activities of POTUS. He’s too busy running around the world making deals that will feed his personal bank account.
This is a huge tell that we’ve got a puppet for president. Who needs the figurehead if the people surrounding them are calling the shots?

This will be the 3rd month in a row that he disappears at the beginning of a month for a few days. He’s getting some kind of treatment that takes him out for a while. Then he comes back with a heavily bruised hand.
If he’s going in early, maybe the treatment needs to intensify, or it’s not working.
In 2024 most Americans were MIA when it was time to try to save the experiment to build a democracy and prevent the descent into fascism.
That’s why we are where we are today.
Isn’t it obvious? They have no intentions on running a government. They are intent on making as much money as possible using the awesome power that the US goverment has built up over the decades. Any policy changes made will only be to further secure their hold on that power for themselves and to maximize and normalize those profits for themselves.
Can we please stop waiting and pretending that these people are actually trying to run things in good faith? They are ecstatic that the government is shut down.
