Serious question: what sort of global response would be needed to stop this conflict? Lots of boots on the ground? Bombing a few places? Just get the sponsors to stop sponsoring the factions? This is a damn big crisis but I have no clue how it can be solved.

Death by starvation and male violence been happening for years and years in this god forsaken place but rarely on the news. Heartbreaking.
Soon the U.N. will send a stern letter to the leaders of both groups asking them to please try to stop their armies from doing bad things.

Sudan/South Sudan never really get a break. It’s so sad, so many have died over oil or poverty. If the world was a better place we would be able to help them but it seems not
