USA und Japan unterzeichnen Abkommen über seltene Erden

The US and Japan have signed a new agreement to strengthen trade and cooperation on critical minerals essential for defence, electronics, and automotive industries. The deal aims to secure supply chains and counter China’s export controls. It marks a major step in deepening the US-Japan economic security alliance.

Personally I think if rare earths are as powerful a measure as some people think it was a massive blunder to pull the trigger now.

Would have been much better to only use in the immediate run up to a war for Taiwan.
