    1. No one dares to say this as part of this conversation, but will he even be alive by 2028? He’s clearly unwell in every health measure.

    2. thesweeterpeter on

      He’s been saying this out loud since the last campaign. He has no plan to leave office.

      At this point, Trump’s presidency is like a bad TV show that refuses to get canceled. Season 3: The Third Term Conspiracy.

      Section 1 of the 22nd amendment: No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

      The constitution is clear: no president can serve for a third term.

      Classic republican deciding not to follow the rules and not understanding what no means.

      It’s just fear mongering.

      He’s just joking.

      He’s earned it.

      He deserves it.

      What’s the big deal?

      Those are just some of the responses from MAGA that you will hear. Soon, you will hear:

      That’s just his dementia talking. He’s perfectly healthy.

    6. Not to mention the other hundreds of things that would be immediately cancelled and the amount of litigation as a result of unconstitutional ICE and other raids. They’re showing they want all the power and they are determined to not let go. The law means absolute dick anymore.

    7. Like it or not, 2026 could be like this:

      1) Use of the Insurrection Act;

      2) Martial law (for those who don’t know, it doesn’t require congressional approval);

      3) Militarization of conservative and dissident Republican states;

      4) Suspicious deaths among politicians and judges (heart attacks, car accidents, home invasions, etc.), especially in those states where the governor can appoint a temporary replacement;

      5) Electoral corruption;

      6) Permanent takeover of the Supreme Court, the House of Representatives, and the Senate (see point 4);

      7) Constitutional amendments.

      This needs to stop getting headlines since it is basically propoganda to normalize it, to numb us to it. Any coverage should lead with „Unconstitutional“! and keep pressing it, not, „Oh , he is gonna run in 2028, he is going to get a third term“.

      No, just NO!

    9. Healthy_Journey650 on

      Good to know, we knew this in 2024 and yet here we are. He literally told everyone what he had planned.

    10. Ok-Wealth-7322 on

      I mean, the „tell“ is that he’s been talking about being President *forever* since at least 2016. He’s not picturing ever leaving the Presidency. Hell, part of him probably doesn’t even believe that he can die, he might figure that’s something *regular people* do.

    11. I really hate that journalists (or lackeys) who ask this question. I was astonished in 2020 when he kept getting asked, „If you lose, will you respect the results?“ Seriously, WTF? Was any President asked that before?

      It seemed to feed itself and legitimize the question.

    12. Yeah he told us this during the election campaign.

      Maybe you were distracted by attacking Biden so often?

    13. Dismal_Thanks_5849 on

      They just want to take more money from MAGA supporters while they still can. It’s always a grift.

    14. Old_Channel44 on

      It’s no coincidence that this so called ballroom is over the existing bunker. Perhaps this will just be a bigger bunker. Probably will be fortified either way. Good place for all his cronies to hide out when he tries to run for a third term

    15. So heres a possibly stupid question: If he runs for a 3rd, but does nothing to overturn the 22nd, does that mean any vote for him is considered an illegal vote? And can States simply take him off the ballot?

    16. Imyoteacher on

      No idea why people are worried about Trump. After the stroke, heart degeneration, loss of body control, and cognitive issues…..he doesn’t have the longevity to handle this term…..not to mention another. It’s laughable! My mother had some of the same issues towards the end of her life. He has a few years left as a functional worker and that’s with tons of help from family, aides, and healthcare professionals! Just wait until he starts hallucinating and talking to those that aren’t present. I know what his end will look like, and it is not pleasant.

    17. liftbikerun on

      The Dementia Don has *literally* said he was running again. Come on people.

    18. Firm_Particular9607 on

      Didn’t Steve Bannon already say this was the plan? To run and win in ‘28?

    19. Being able to recognize one of Trump’s tells isn’t some great achievement. Trump telegraphs his actions more than a Punch-Out opponent.

    20. WhiskeyBiscuit222 on

      The crazy part is that there will be no accountability for being wrong about this..

      If anything the cult narcissism that people will be like:

      „The inly reason he didnt get a 3rd term was because we protested no kings 2 times“

      Like no. He has no intention of running a 3rd term

    21. CountChoculasGhost on

      Have they not seen a video of Trump in the last couple of months? I’d be shocked if he survived until the midterms let alone 2028. He is barely functioning.

    22. spaceocean99 on

      Not going to happen.

      If it does, the riots and storming the capitol will dwarf Jan 6. Trump will be dragged out of that office, along with anyone else who is protecting him.

    23. NoScientist9175 on

      I truly don’t think he’s gonna run in 2028. He’s tired and he’s old. So instead, Trump is floating the idea and selling the merch NOW so he can make all the money now.

      With his health issues, I seriously doubt he’ll make it to 28.

    24. D_o_t_d_2004 on

      With trumps health, he’ll be dead before the first term is up. It’s the power vacuum and the idiot MAGAts trying to take over that’s going to be interesting.

    25. BallBearingBill on

      The thing is that they are rallying around a guy that is not likely to be around much longer. They have no backup plan. MAGA is Trump and the GOP is MAGA now. The fight inside the party is going to be wild once Trump is gone.

    26. Was the tell not the Trump 2028 hats he sold in the White House gift shop? Why is *this* the tell and not his own mouth? Or Bannon’s mouth? Or the GOP amendment proposition that said 3rd terms were going to be allowed if two were served non consecutively?

    27. thesouleater33 on

      There is only 2 ways that Trump is going to leave power.

      1 He dies. No matter how he dies MAGA is going to think fowl play and riot. It going to make Jan 6th look like a polite disagreement.

      2 JD Vance and the others invoke the 25th and Trump isn’t going to take that lying down. Trump is going to encourage MAGA to riot. And again that is going to make the Jan 6th look like a polite disagreement.

      No matter what, it not going to be peaceful.

    28. Pretty sad Trump is the only option the Republicans have. Hopefully the party dies when he goes too.

    29. FabriqueauMurica on

      Any State Official that puts Trump on a 2028 ballot should be treated as treasonous and dealt with accordingly.

    30. SkollFenrirson on

      Omfg was there really anyone out there that didn’t see this coming?!

    31. PoliticalJive on

      I think Trump will say that we owe him a term since 2020 was rigged against him and just stay in office.

    32. Release the Epstein files. In 2028 Trump will either be dead or drooling on his shoes.
