Great news for bald men. Now if only they can figure out _propert_ penis enlargement, Elon would very much appreciate that.

Is this vaporware or is this a real solution that’s available to the public. Feels like I’ve seen this type of article on the cure for baldness for years.

I dream of a day in the future, where it is nice to have no hair… and no one has a problem with being bald.

They did it with mice. It is not expected to have much effect on people, according to the article:
„In humans, though, more than 90 percent of scalp hair follicles are ‘in a growing phase… so the stimulation of resting hair follicles is not going to have a dramatic effect.“

Is there a research paper on this or similar? My thoughts on this run towards excitotoxicity and ROS as a cause so I’d like to review it. I can’t find a link to that in the article. Maybe I’m failing.

This is probably going to help people with telogen effluvium (a shortening of the growth cycle of hair that can lead to sparseness) but won’t likely help with the most common forms of more significant hair loss like adrogenic loss (male pattern baldness) or scarring alopecias. In other words it will help a few people a little but doesn’t move the needle for those who’d be most desperate for a solution.

Wouldn’t put too much hope into this one… Seems like it is just a mix of olive oil and macadamia oil. But who knows?
