    1. Imagine that and all the Chinese cars. I would not be surprised if in the future they’ll be used as some sort of a hybrid warfare thing

These Yutong-buses are very uncomfortable for passengers. I’ve been sitting few times in these buses and for a tall man the bench lacks space catastrophically much. The ergonomy is so bad that it literally hurts to sit there. I didn’t know these buses are from China. I thought they were from Poland, because Helsinki ordered some Polish buses back in the days. Sorry Poland… But I recognized the logo, and buses were electric too, so it is this Yutong. Absolutely horrible experience for the customer. Volvo buses for example are so much more comfortable that they are not the same product. Everything is ok in Volvos. And what is the price difference? 30%, or is there any difference at all?

Unfortunately nothing new here; we’ve been warning about this for years and developing technologies into place for detecting and preventing this. This kind of cybersecurity isn’t as sexy as „quantum blockchain AI“, and the answer is often, „No one would do this“….yep…too late.

    4. My only guilt in this is that I’m funding an idiocracy dumb enough to pick chinese buses over any local option.

Trimmer lines and bumper stickers lack electrical components. Shop smarter.

    5. Why not think positively?

Doesn’t this also mean that 20% of busses could be driven remotely from China? How much money could be saved by outsourcing?
