But putin said the sanctions won’t hurt them? And is it worth anything anymore?
Guess I’ll have to read the article…

      >Its biggest foreign asset is Iraq’s West Qurna 2 oil field, one of the world’s largest, in which it holds a 75% stake.
The oil field’s output topped 480,000 bpd in April, Russia’s Interfax news agency has reported.
The company owns the 190,000 bpd Lukoil Neftohim Burgas refinery in Bulgaria, the largest in the Balkans, as well as the Petrotel oil refinery in Romania.

Selling the silver cutlery to keep the Russian ship afloat. I expect it will have fleeting impact.

No my sweet child you don’t have to sell your international assets due o international sanctions.

You have to sell your international assets because of Putin and his murderous decisions.

Who wants to bet the winner of most of these assets sales will be china.

It will be interesting to see who buys, and at what discount. Hopefully they sell cheap. Buying a big Iraqi oilfield isn’t for everyone. India may have corporations with capacity and interest, and China, but it would be unlikely for many western, or sunni, buyers. Few bids might mean a fire sale. I hope so.

    6. Russia wants to also sell off the International investments to prevent them being used(VIA Courts) to rebuild Ukraine.

Just to remind everyone the previous CEO of lukoil lives at 459 A304 in London and should be sanctioned and forced to leave. Blood is on his hands too
