    1. The trial comes three months after Macron and his wife filed a 22-count defamation lawsuit in the US state of Delaware against right-wing podcaster Candace Owens over the claim that Brigitte Macron could be a man.

The French case relates to a legal complaint filed by the first lady’s lawyer in August 2024 alleging cyberbullying, which led to two waves of arrests in February and March of 2025.

Among the eight men and two women aged 41 to 60 on trial are an elected official, a gallery owner, an IT specialist, a teacher, a property manager and a business owner. CNN affiliate BFMTV provided details on one of the defendants: 41-year-old advertising executive Aurélien Poirson-Atlan, who uses the pseudonym “Zoé Sagan” on social media. His X account, which has since been suspended, has been the subject of several complaints and is often linked to conspiracy theorists.

    2. This title is misleading. It was less „cyber bullying“ and more „defamation“. Laws should work for everyone and if my wife was victim of people’s conspiracy that she is a man, I would also seek legal action.

People forgot the whole deal with Obama orgins and his wife being a natural woman or not.

    3. People lose the run of themselves thinking they can say what the hell they like, good to see people being held accountable

Why are people obsessed with the personal lives of other people and are fascinated by conspiracy theories? Why can’t they mind their own business and try to have a happy life and not a miserable one?

    5. She banged her husband when he was 14 and she was 40

How is this not an issue

This would be so easy to prove by doing a DNA test. If I was in their situation, I’d do the test. Fast and easy. Or am I crazy?

How is question about grooming cyberbullying?

Are French gonna drag me to court too? If they are watching, can they get the idiot in office to focus on fixing France instead of chasing useless things?

    8. It is really low to call anyone what Brigitte has been called on social media.

You have any problem with Macron, solve it with him, not with his wife. Hitting her that low, knowing no official can go that low doesn’t make you hero. It just proves you’re a jacka$$.

I hope it was worth it for these 10 nutbars to waste money and time on this stupid falsehood

This is so dumb, unless there’s credible threat of harm you should be able to say whatever nonsense you please online

Abusive pedo got called a man and wants to sue for it.

People should have stuck to highlighting her abuse and attraction to underage people and not made up that she was born a boy.

„Talk shit, get hit“ needs a snappy online equivalent. „Defame in bubble, legally in trouble“ does not quite hit right.

In France, you groom a minor, you end up First Lady ; you denounce it, you end up in the courts. Democracy for you, lol.

    14. Are these ten people men or women? And do we have real proofs that they are really what they claim to be? For the sake of truth, they should pull down their trousers in front of the judge and jury, because I ain’t trusting their words.
