      Stop making sense. We were repeatedly warned about 1.5*C, and cheerfully ignored it. Continue as usual.
      Captain Smith of the Titanic was also warned of ice, did not change course, full steam ahead, and sank.

      There is nothing to be done. Rampant unregulated capitalism married with unchecked human greed have doomed us all so a handful of billionaires can play God.

      The lunatics are running the asylum, and people are almost celebrating it. If AI doesn’t fuck up the world beyond repair, the escalating conflicts sure will, and climate change will finish the job. I just hope I croak out before shit really hits the fan.
