This actually crossed my mind. Knowing Ford and his history of corruption, there’s a fat chance he wouldn’t give a 75 million dollar advertisement bid to some random company. That’s a favour, bought and paid for.

      >The commercial, which was shared by the premier’s office, was produced by Creative Currency – an external ad agency with financial ties to the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party.

      Would this really surprise anyone?

While we’re at it, I wonder if the people who own global news donated anything to the ontario PCs. The Shaw Family are *huge* supporters of the UCP in Alberta and the federal conservatives.

Doug Ford needs to resign, and I’m hoping this sloppy and self-serving move ruins his reputation across the country. Another $75 million wasted for Ontarians while the rest of Canada takes the fall. Regardless of whether you agree with the content of the advertisement, it’s important to remember that the loudest voice in the room is often not the brightest. Last time I checked, he’s not the one with a seat in the Oval Office, and his theatrics continue to detract from any meaningful progress or negotiation. He is not on Team Canada.
