    1. Bad Bunny, who held the record for Spotify’s most-streamed artist for three-straight years, was announced in late September as the Super Bowl halftime performer. Since then, conservative leaders and supporters have spoken against the move and Democrats have largely praised it.

Poll also illuminates the stark educational divide between those approving and disapproving of Bad Bunny performing at the Super Bowl.

Insanity – he’s the most likable artist to debut in the last decade and literally does nothing but mind his business and make ear worm bangers about how much he loves Puerto Rico and New York

If you’re racist- just say that!!

      48% approve

      29% disapprove

      24% don’t care

The actual story here is that the disapprove couldn’t even hit Trump approval numbers.

    5. The 29% were told to hate it, and they desperately want to belong to any group…so shocker, the edgelords hate it

    6. 100% of the 29% who disapprove of his appearance never heard of him just five weeks ago.

Half of Americans are too stupid to understand that Puerto Rico is a part of the United States.

Conservatives are gonna heel do what their billionaire media outlets tell them to. 🤷

    9. Is there a graph showing many people actually have an opinion about this? That would be interesting.

I’ve never heard his music but I’ve heard of him. I found his appearances on SNL to be funny and he was in Bullet Train so he gets props there. 😁

Are the 29% the same people who stopped watching because:

      – NFL ‘too soft now’
      – NFL ‘protects the QB too much’
      – Colin Kaepernick
      – ‘Woke’ end zone and helmet messages
      – Janet Jackson nipple
      – Games are rigged
      – Upside down 50 Cent

    12. The fact this is considered “political” is dumb af.

And the cancel culture asshats crying about an American performing at the superbowl isn’t something they’d watch in the first place.

I guess this shows republicans, who supposedly like free markets and business, don’t understand how free markets and business work.

A top international streaming artist brings international viewership. Viewership = money.

They also don’t understand that Puerto Rico is part of America.

    14. >Roughly half of Americans approve of the NFL’s decision to have Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican artist, perform the Super Bowl halftime show this season, the poll found, but who that support comes from is starkly split by political party, race and age.

I love how they emphasize the fact that he is Puerto Rican, which half of this country thinks is NOT American.

    15. We should meet the people who disapprove in the middle by having a federal program to send them care packages with colorful balls, KONGs filled with peanut butter, yogurt and maybe even liver paste for the really good ones, and bully sticks so they have something to keep themselves occupied during the scary Half-Time show

Shocking that old out of touch white people would disagree with this…shocking I tell you.

NFL cares about money and ratings.

They will do whatever gets them the most money and ratings..

It is absolutely dumbfounding to me that people are fighting over this.

    19. Unlikely_Ant_950 on

Anyone against this for anything other than musical preferences is incapable of free and independent thought, but that sums Republicans up nicely regardless.

There’s been Super Bowl halftime show controversy for as long as I can remember. This is the first that managed to combine both racism and xenophobia.

No one cares! I was at the SB when the Stones played in Detroit and I didn’t bother watching the half time show…its a non issue.
