Well according to spineless Orpo, the negative attitude towards the economy doesn’t help the situation. I guess we’re just here to gleefully wait it out?
Government criticism aside, it’s not just Finland. It’s everywhere. Most everybody I know has cut their spending and is also sitting on their rainy day funds. After a furlough last year, I too am doing the same because it’s clear that benefit after benefit cut, social program cut after social program cut will leave us with nothing to rely on.
Hang in there everybody!

How is anyone supposed to feel comfortable about any bigger spending (apartment, car) if they aren’t sure if they’re even employed 6-12 months from now? On top of this, no doubt many are postponing smaller but not that urgent/important purchases.
