      My latest with Ellie Cook:

President Donald Trump shrugged off Russia’s test of its nuclear-capable Burevestnik missile, which the Kremlin said had flown for more than 8,000 miles, and said Russian President Vladimir Putin should be focused on ending his war in Ukraine instead.

    2. Trump is kinda correct on this. With the nuclear triad the US has what more of a threat is this test?

This is a missile which spreads nuclear waste throughout its flight path and has on at least one occasionally exploded and killed its operators through radiation poisoning. It is slower and dirtier than the nuclear capable ICBMs that Russia and the US amongst others have already. The US developed a similar weapon in the 1950s but cancelled it due to unacceptable levels of radioactive contamination and it being overly provocative. The missile has been described by a US govt official as a “uniquely stupid weapons system”. I’m not quite sure what Russia is hoping to achieve with this.

    5. That’s actually a decent reaction. Basically dismissing it.

Russia trying to show how great it is, Trump putting him in his place, reminding him about the 1 week no Ukraine. Good response.

    6. Ugh. The thought that trump, Putin and Xi all have access to launch nukes 24-7 terrifies me.

It only takes one really bad day for these few men and the entire world is destroyed with the deadman defense systems that exist. No one man should ever have this level of power.

I don’t really understand the purpose of this weapon. Why make a slow and easily detectable radiation emitting missile that could be shot down like any other cruise missile.

Surely it’s more of an engineering feat than a credible weapon. Ballistic missiles seem to do the same job but much faster and much more difficult to intercept.

Hypersonic cruise missiles would be much harder to detect launching and intercepting too.

      Adversary hopes for fear reaction

U.S shows they aren’t afraid and shrugs off their bullshit.

Good job Donnie you’ve done something right for once. Now where’s those files?

    9. „Donald Trump reacts“ doesn’t tell us anything about the reaction, his reaction was probably „oh really? I’ll look into that, it’s quite concerning but I’m sure my buddy Putin is doing a good job, and it was just an accident“ and I’m absolutely not clicking a Newsweek link to find out his reaction.

Plus every time one of the pro Trump „news“ groups reports on him „reacting“ to Russia or the Epstein files, I just imagine the editor yelling at some guy with a chatGPT window open that daddy Trump needs to create more separation between Trump and Russia/Epstein so they need more articles about how trump is „tough on Russia“ or how „Trump barely spoke to Epstein ever and if they ever did talk it was about the weather“

    10. It’s a dirty nuclear propulsion system the US and UK tested and rejected in the 1950s. On top of that, there is still no nuclear payload being tested. Does Russia have any *actual nuclear weapons* to test?

    11. While Putin showcases this weapon as ‚invincible‘ with an unpredictable flight path, the environmental risks from its nuclear propulsion cannot be ignored.

Jeez….“A war that should have taken one week is now in its, soon, fourth year. That’s what he ought to do instead of testing missiles.“. Wtf?

    13. Amazing missile test, some people are calling it one of the best.

I will be inviting Putin to my new ballroom that’s been funded by the Epstein island dolphins, tremendous dolphins by the way.

    14. Maybe he’ll give them 10% less Tariffs or Sanctions for a missile test. Thank god Russia didn’t air an ad featuring Ronnie Reagan. /s
