California Gov. Gavin Newsom ripped into President Donald Trump’s administration on Saturday, saying the MAGA agenda is “literally putting America in reverse.”
“I can’t take what’s going on. I mean, no bullshit. I can’t take it. Every single day, every single hour, and it’s not even about Dems versus Republicans, it’s about this country and what we stand for,” Newsom said on “All the Smoke” podcast.

„Woke“ is just a shorthand comprehensive term for discriminating against hundreds of groups of people simultaneously. It’s anti-black, but it’s so much more. It’s discrimination against everyone who isn’t male, heterosexual, white and Christian. It’s the most disrespectful word that could be spoken, and it’s used casually by people like Donald Trump and Kkkaroline Leavitt
He’s not wrong, but the right are the only ones I’ve been noticing to use the „woke“ term these days as a catch-all for anyone or anything they don’t like.
Also last I checked, Trump is anti-latino. Unless we see him recognize the KKK as a group „that meant well“, sics ICE on the Obamas or Harris, or he starts deporting African-Americans to African countries, he can definitely be considered racist to one specific group more than anyone else.
Though let’s be real here, that going to happen sooner rather than later.

I mean, the term was coined to at first describe people who were aware of corruption targeting black people. Not too far off the mark. It’s now a general term for being generally elightened and aware.
This is accurate. If you look at all the anti-dei and anti-woke decisions, they all end up targeting POC. Removing any mention of those that have accomplished things of significance. Anything where those involved are POc, suddenly they will be viewed as DEI.
Essentially any contract or reward to someone POC is now going to be viewed as woke and DEI. Well, I guess there is one exception. They also target women too. Pretty much the government views woke as anything woman related or black related.

To me Make America Great Again has always been an alternative for saying “white power”. Trump coined it during his first run for presidency along side “build the wall”, in other words “keep the minorities out”. Trump was 8 when the civil rights movement began, 22 when it ended. “Colored and white only” bathrooms were outlawed when he reached the age of 18. He got to experience a time when white privilege was at its peak and began to decline and he definitely is saying he wants to go back.
