I honestly do not know what Venezuela can possibly do to stop America from taking what it wants, which i assume is favorable access to their oil fields through regime change.
Literally blasting fishermen with multimillion dollar missiles while Trump floating the idea of a land invasion.
Scary shit.

Maduro can condemn all he wants but that won’t make any difference to Trump. He will do what he wants to do and nobody else has a say in it — including Congress and the American people.

AAs far as I know, the Venezuelan government is in exile in Spain, and haven’t said anything about this

America will not allow any external influence within the north/south american continents. Anyone who is not seen to be falling in line will be replaced through whatever mean necessary.
Trump is just being overt about it because it suits his „distract and overwhelm“ style of politics he plays where he lights so many fires it’s hard to focus on any on issue.
Blowing ships out of the water when you can intercept them is wanton violence for the sake of posturing.

Regime change and War is inevitable in Venezuela, the US has already chosen the next leader of Venezuela “ Maria Corina Machado“ .
It’s the same playbook all over .
Democracy and war against Drugs is just a facade and made up reason pushed forward by the media ecosystem of US like various other reasons in the past US used to justify their wars to achieve their geopolitical goals .
America wants maximum control over the Oil and gas supply chain across the world and wherever america doesn’t have control, they just sanction them eg Iran , Venezuela, Russia etc .
Gulf nations accepts US demands , in return they get to remain “ Kings“ and they will never be poked about democracy, freedom of speech etc . .Iraq and Syria were needed to be fixed and they fixed them and now it’s under US control.
America has artificially created oil shortage by sanctioning various countries and then US companies will occupy Venezuela Oil (the biggest oil reserve in the world ) and make massive profits by selling it .
