      USS nimitz at last reporting is somewhere off the west coast of Philippines in the extreme southern edge of the Chinese claims. She only just transited the Singapore strait last week to enter the south china sea. Apparently this is near the end of her plan deployment and she’s just quietly cruising back to the west coast.

      Earlier this year weren’t we raining jets into the ocean because someone forgot to set the parking bake and turn the wheel?

      107 million worth of aircraft dissapears into the ocean. 2 major unrelated incidents from the same carrier within 30 minutes of each other. Millions of americans losing food options this holiday season. A 300 million dollar ballroom. Millions cannot afford healthcare or insurance now. Consumer protection removed. There is nothing from this government that you can trust now including what happened to these aircraft.

      I think it’s because the training tempo in United States military is picking up. Training accidents happen, hopefully things are learned by them.

      I am so fucking happy everyone survived. I use to be a part of those ships out there and flew on sierras. Flying over the pacific is scary af especially on and off the ship. Thank god everyone is alive and well and back on board. GREAT JOB SAR CREWMAN AND EVERYONE INVLVED!

      This is purely coincidence, but the two aircraft that went down were a Seahawk and a Super Hornet, the Nimitz XO is a Seahawk pilot and the CO is a Super Hornet pilot.

      *Nimitz* seems to have an outstanding rescue team and a negligent or crooked maintenance crew.
