    1. I wonder what explains that the size of european contries is so tiny. Probably being conquered and colonized unifies the population of a big area

      I wish life quality in Kazakhstan was as high as in Europe, not just the size like the EU🥲

    3. A lot of Eastern Europe and some of Northern Europe is offscreen, it must be noted. Many people have the impression that Europe is smaller than it actually is just because most maps of Europe leave a large portion of the continent outside the map area

    4. It’s mostly empty, reasonably flat and dry land that could only sustain nomadic societies. The USSR thought otherwise and ended up killing over half of the population within a couple of decades.
