Setting the Scientology aside, Tom Cruise was known as being difficult to work with and a domineering personality in his early years. Brad Pitt, Bronson Pinchot, Thandie Newton and a few others have talked about it. I think he started to mellow post divorce with Katie Holmes when he realized he was in trouble and that’s when the PR campaign started.
